The build process
Six steps, documented and repeatable. Same process for a single jumper as for a 1,000-unit run.

Spec review & build sheet
You send the spec — length, connectors, polarity, jacket, labeling. We turn it into a build sheet, confirm details, and lock the price.

Cut & stage
Bulk cable is pulled from inventory and cut to length. Connector kits and inserts are staged next to the operator's bench.
- 03
Terminate & polish
Termination performed on calibrated tooling by trained technicians. Every ferrule is polished to spec — UPC or APC — with in-line polish monitoring.

Endface inspection
Every connector endface is inspected under a microscope against IEC 61300-3-35 pass/fail criteria. Fails are re-worked before they leave the bench.

Optical test
100% insertion loss and return loss testing per fiber. Values are recorded per serialized assembly — you receive the data on request.
- 06
Label & pack
Custom labels applied (part number, run ID, project code, or your SKU). Assemblies coiled, protected, and packed for shipment.
Frequently asked
How long does a custom build take?
Standard custom assemblies (any length, any connector, in-stock cable and connectors) ship in 2–5 business days. Rush turnarounds are available — contact sales with your target date and we'll confirm.
What is the minimum quantity for a custom order?
One. There is no minimum order quantity for custom builds. That said, most customers who need one are already ordering hundreds — we're set up to handle both ends of the spectrum without any pricing games.
Do I get test data with every assembly?
Yes. Every assembly is 100% tested for insertion loss (IL) and return loss (RL) per fiber. On request, we deliver a signed test report tied to the serial number on the label.
Can I supply my own labeling format?
Yes. Send us your naming convention or drop a sample label image and we'll match font, format, and placement. Both-end labeling is standard.
